2008 SUMMER CAMP AT CHESAPEAKE MONTESSORI

Our summer program includes lots of activities for everyone!

Primary: Ages 3-1/2 to 5
8:30 - 12:00 Half Day
8:30 - 3:30 Optional Full Day
3:30 - 5:00 Extended Day

Elementary: Ages 6 to 9
8:30 - 3:30 Full Day
3:30 - 5:00 Extended Day

Children need to come dressed in comfortable play clothes. Each child will receive a CMS summer tee shirt. For daily swimming, please bring: swim suit, towel, waterproof bag and shoes to wear around the pool (flip-flops and/or sandals). Swim goggles are optional.

Summer 2008 Schedule

Session I: This Land is OUR Land
June 16 - June 27
COST: Half Day $425, Full Day $545
We will study our beautiful America, from sea to shining sea, with games, crafts, sports, and music; we will celebrate Independence Day with an end-of-session parade and picnic.

Session II: Go for the Gold
June 30 - July 11 (No camp on July 4)
COST: Half Day $425, Full Day $545
The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing is just around the corner; in anticipation, we will explore China with crafts, games, and activities, we will take a field trip to the National Zoo to see the Panda bears, and we will hold our own CMS Summer Olympics.

Session III: Rock and Roll
July 16 - July 27
COST: Half Day $425, Full Day $545
We will hunt for, gather and identify all kinds of rocks; we will use all types of sports equipment that roll; and yes, there will be lots of jiving to some good ol’ rock and roll.

Bonus Session
July 28 – August 1
COST: Half Day $215, Full Day $275
This bonus week is only offered to returning campers from previous sessions. We will have some wacky theme days, campers’ choice activities, many favorites from the earlier sessions!
