Reminder, our primary classes will present their winter holiday program tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. in Ms. Zodtner's classroom. If you are on campus before 9:00 a.m., please join us in the cabana for coffee. Once the children are prepared, we will walk from the cabana to the classroom. There will be light refreshments in your child's classroom after the program. Feel free to take your child home after the refreshments.
Late day parents, when picking up your child, please do not park in such a way that you block the driveway. Others might need to pass while you are in the building.
"Late Parents," please remember that you need to walk your child to their classroom. It is not permissible to let your child out of the car and permit him/her to make their way to the classroom alone. In addition, kindly go to the office and sign the late book.
If you are missing some of your child's belongings, check our lost and found basket outside Ms. Zodtner's classroom.
Finally, it was wonderful to see that so many people were able to attend the holiday program. As I said at the program, since the beginning of recorded time, humanity has expressed a deep longing for hope during the Winter Solstice, that moment when light overtakes the darkness of night. After her experience of World War II, Maria Montessori expressed her belief that children are humanities best source of hope for a peaceful world. Experiencing the talent, wonder, and beauty of our children at the holiday program, helps to prove Montessori correct. May we all continue to grow in recognition of our children as our hope for the future. My best wishes to all of you for a wonderful and safe holiday and new year.
