About the PTO

The 2015-2016 PTO Officers are Ayris Narock, president, Kristin Hoffensetz, vice president, Cheryl Sullivan, treasurer, and Janet Pickett, secretary.

The purpose of the Chesapeake Montessori School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to encourage volunteerism, support teachers, promote community involvement and the welfare of our students and their families, through support our school’s mission and the teachings of Maria Montessori.

The PTO sponsors several well-loved events and school initiatives during the school year. The PTO also hosts several fundraisers, the proceeds of which go directly to the PTO.

All parents, teachers and staff are members of the CMS PTO. All are encouraged to attend PTO meetings and become involved in committees to assist with PTO events and initiatives.
